During the booking process, you will be asked if you have pets. This allows us to match you with Pros who are comfortable and happy working in homes with pets. Most Pros love pets, but we make sure to account for any allergies or fears.

Regular cleaning covers the surfaces, fixtures, and areas cleaned on a recurring visit — wiping, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas. Deep cleaning goes further on areas a regular clean skips. It is suited to a first clean, a seasonal reset, or a property that has not been cleaned professionally in a while.

No — not without your permission.

Our room-based services are results-based, not time-limited. Your Pro works through every task on the checklist until the job meets our standard, regardless of how long it takes.

When you book, you'll receive an estimated duration. This is a guideline — our Pros often finish faster.

If the clean runs over the estimate, here's exactly what happens:

• Up to 1 hour over estimate — covered at no extra charge, every time.
• More than 1 hour over estimate — we'll contact you first and confirm before any additional charges apply. You're always in control.

We call this our Fair-Go Policy. You'll never receive an unexpected bill.

Contact us within 24 hours and we will arrange for your Pro to return and address any missed items at no additional cost.

For most services, your card is authorised the day before your clean to confirm payment — you are only charged once the job is complete.

No. The price shown in the calculator is the price you pay. There are no call-out fees, travel fees, or service charges added at checkout. The only exception is a late cancellation fee if a booking is cancelled inside 24 hours.

For recurring bookings, yes — we assign a dedicated Pro to your home who shows up every visit, learns your preferences, and builds on the previous clean. For one-off bookings we match you with the best available Pro in your area.

Yes. Every Pro on the platform goes through identity verification, a criminal history check, reference checks, and a quality assessment before being approved. We do not accept every applicant — Pros are onboarded to a standard, not just a number.

Your Pro brings all cleaning products and supplies. You provide your own vacuum and mop — standard practice to prevent cross-contamination between homes.

More than 24 hours before your clean:
Cancel or change for free. No fees, no questions asked.

Less than 24 hours before your clean:
A cancellation fee of 50% of your booking total applies.

Less than 2 hours before your clean, or if you cancel on the spot:
A fee equal to 100% of your booking total applies. At this point your Pro has either already travelled to your property or is about to — this fee covers their committed time.

The easiest way to avoid fees is to let us know as early as possible.

Yes. Manage your booking through your Squeaky Lemon account. You can reschedule, skip, or cancel anytime — no lock-in contracts.

No. Most customers leave while their Pro works. Just ensure your Pro has access to the property before the booked time and you will receive a notification when they arrive and when the job is done.

You can book a single clean with no commitment, subscription, or lock-in. If you want to make it regular afterwards, you can — but there is no obligation to do anything more than the one clean you book.

Same-day bookings are available subject to Pro availability in your area. For the best chance of a same-day clean, book as early in the morning as possible. Availability varies by city and season.
